Garden Variety Bees is your Arizona-based beekeeping resource. I provide education, local products, and support to help beekeepers thrive in a hot climate.

2. Do you sell bees?
I do occasionally sell nucs in the Spring and Fall. Message me directly to see if I have any available. My main focus is on helping you become a successful beekeeper with training, equipment, and seasonal guidance tailored to Arizona.

3. Can I buy honey or beeswax products from you?
Yes! I offer pure, local Arizona honey, as well as beeswax candles, herbal remedies, and raw beeswax (occasionally). Check my online shop for seasonal availability.

4. I’m a new beekeeper. Where should I start?
I recommend beginning with the Honeybee Bootcamp course, which covers everything you need to know to start beekeeping in Arizona. We also provide newsletters and blog posts with seasonal updates.

5. Do you teach about Arizona-specific challenges?
Absolutely. My resources focus on desert beekeeping—covering issues like high heat, drought, pests, and nectar flow patterns unique to the Sonoran Desert.
